What types of business posts score best on social media? A top 15.
Last quarter I met the folks at SocialLane. They do nothing but put out social media campaigns from small and large businesses. During a presentation at Powerful Business Women’s Network, they talked about the top scoring 15 business posts on social media. Below, they all pass by.
A good business post is a mix of video/photos and a great story. But what do you put in the content of a post?
1. Share your knowledge
Show what you know. Share your knowledge with your social media followers. In all likelihood, it’s the reason they follow you. Make it worth it!
2. Share a great customer case study
Successes are always appreciated. Show off what you’ve accomplished for clients.
3. A good reference from a customer
In addition to the previous post: it is of course even better when customers themselves tell you why they are so happy with your company.
4. An appeal
Are you looking for a cooperation partner or a location for a meeting or …? It doesn’t really matter. Place your call online and people will be happy to help!
5. A good (new) product
Do you have a new product? Share it on social media. Tell why you created it. Tell what it can deliver.
6. Your service
It goes without saying that your service may come by online from time to time!
7. Research results
Have you seen an interesting study? Or maybe you did it yourself? Share it! For example, research showed that during cucumber time (these summer months) the chance of publicity is twice as high as normal. Great news for a PR agency. We shared this immediately!
8. Vacancy
Do you have a vacancy? One of the posts that do best on social media!
9. Solid blog
Written a nice blog? Share it on your social media channels.
10. A fun vlog
Vlogs are also welcome to share online.
11. Developments in the sector
You, as an expert in the business, are the first to know about developments. Share these. As a loose insight or as a full insight by means of a blog.

What you stand for, you can also share!

Is something changing in the profession soon? Is there a trend coming up? Let your social media followers know.

Will the future be different? Of course it will! Do you know what? Or have you found a great blog that gives insight into this? Throw it online!
