For ten years, the International Charter Expo (ICE) has been the leading international B2B networking event for the global yacht charter industry. In November 2025, ICE celebrated its 10th anniversary with a successful edition at EXPO Greater Amsterdam, where more than 600 companies from 57 countries came together.
After the successful Amsterdam edition in 2024, ICE continued to grow in size, impact, and international relevance. With a strong content program, thousands of pre-planned one-on-one meetings via the well-known matchmaking app Handshake, and a clear vision for the future of the sector, ICE emphatically positioned itself as a thought leader within the charter industry. PRGoeroes was commissioned to raise the profile of this anniversary edition and, with it, ICE’s international positioning in the media.
International media attention and measurable results
The PR campaign resulted in international media coverage, with PRGoeroes focusing on the Dutch (trade) media. Among other things, ICE was included in Boat24’s events calendar, which provided extra visibility among the desired target group actively looking for maritime and charter events.
In addition, 14 online publications appeared, representing a combined online reach of 413,000 readers and a media value of €27,700. These figures do not include publications behind paywalls, including an extensive magazine interview in OnderneemIn, and other additional articles that were only made available to subscribers.
The coverage consisted of:
- Interviews and background stories about ICE’s vision and growth
- International announcements of ICE as the world’s largest B2B yacht charter event
- Publications in trade media such as Nautique
- Journalistic reporting by trade editors who physically visited the fair
Strengthening its international position
This visibility reinforced ICE’s position as an international connecting platform within the charter world. The presence of representatives from several European embassies underlined the international character and strategic value of the event for the maritime sector.
After ten years, ICE continues to do what it does best: connecting companies, putting sector challenges on the agenda, and building the future of the international charter market. The next edition will take place from November 11 to 13, 2026, once again at EXPO Greater Amsterdam. More information: https://www.internationalcharterexpo.com/
